In this Bite Size from episode #56 former England cricketer Jeremy Snape shares his story of getting into the English cricket team and how he used some immersive training to mentally prepare himself to bowl against some of the world’s best which worked, but he didn’t train as much on his batting which let him down.
Jeremy talks about how after a bad inning of batting he spiraled down mentally and thought his life was over, but after talking to some teammates he was able to pull out of it and realised that there was a universal need to be able to perform under pressure, putting him on the path to become a mental skills coach.
