In this bite size from episode #66 Michael Bungay Stainer talks about how he turned a nightmare scenario into one of the best interviews he has ever done. During an early morning interview MBS found himself being asked to coach Brené Brown live on her podcast, all the while he had lost her video feed and was unable to see her.

Michael talks about how he went back to basics and used simple techniques such as holding silence, referring to his 7 essential coaching questions and using the this not that format to give  a great coaching session that he is still proud of to this day.
